THE SUMMER NEVER ENDS Music Mark W. Costoso Lyrics Michael McKasty I see your body glistening as you walk along the beach I feel my heart start pounding just as our eyes meet I struggle with anxieties as I try to say hello And then I see that smile, just enough to let me know CHORUS We were only just beginning as we walked along shore But I knew you were the only one and I'd never want for more You are the best of lovers, We are the best of friends Long as you're with me, yeah, you know the summer never ends Awkward conversation, ocean sand beneath my feet Massive perspiration, was it nerves or summer heat Every glance and every word like it was just yesterday I get that same old feeing when you look at me that way CHORUS
2.
NEGATIVE ENERGY Music Mark W. Costoso Lyrics Michael McKasty It's a self involved and empty stare t's evil wrapped in I don't care It's in your useless attitude, Wasting Time It's in your useless attitude, Wasting Time CHORUS Negative Energy Keep the stuff away from me, keep it all away from me It's a self induced injury You turn your poison inwardly Like a dark cloud over the sun, losing time You kill each dream before it's begun, losing time CHORUS I can't, I can't I won't I won't If you must turn it on yourself, go ahead and do it If you must turn it on yourself, just don't expose me to it, NO! If you cannot love humanity, then whatever could your reason be For breathing in and out each day, wasting time For breathing in and out each day, wasting time A vicious raging ball, losing time You build yourself a massive wall, losing time CHORUS
3.
PASSION FROM A DISTANCE Lyrics...Michael Ellis Music...Mark Costoso Everybody tells me That we should never be Love will complicate things In ways you cannot see But I can't stop these feelings They're too strong to deny That's why I keep living This solitary lie CHORUS Passion from a distance Love felt from afar Can time shape the circumstances Keeping us apart When I see you hand in hand It tears me up inside I have to find a quiet place Until my tears subside Though I hold a flame for you I keep it hid so well All the things I've longed to say I've kept them to myself CHORUS BRIDGE Some day soon, who knows The truth may see the light And I will be the one Who'll finally set my whole world right CHORUS
4.
MOUNTAIN OF ROPE Lyrics Michael Ricotta Music Mark W. Costoso When I needed to love, I gave you special faces When I needed to hate, just went and took them all away When I needed a drink from my bottled weather I turned you into a corkscrew and I gave you a spin When I feared the winter, I threw you into the fire When I filed away my hours, I made you work off the time When I was losing my sight, I made you my eyes When I lost sight of myself, I made you into a mirror and counted my losses CHORUS So I've got a mountain of rope Still you keep on feeding me I've got a mountain of rope Until you've got me tangled up and tied down to you When I wanted to grow a garden of cyanide flowers You went out in the midday planting where you found fertile soil When I wanted to make a knot of my past I looped my history around your finger and clipped the end with a rusty razor CHORUS When I needed to love, I gave you special faces When I needed to hate, just went and took them all away When I needed a drink from my bottled weather I turned you into a corkscrew and I gave you a spin CHORUS
5.
SMALL SACRIFICE Lyrics Laurie Costoso Coen Music Mark W. Costoso Anywhere, USA, a perfect warm and sunny day Safe and sound, far from the fray, kids like dandelions grow Somewhere, a suburban street, children play on lawns so neat Grinning gleeful, sticky sweet, the ice cream man they did just meet CHORUS Somewhere half way 'round the world another bomb is quickly hurled And what was one a little girl is blown to smithereens In some distant far off place, a nameless boy now has no face An old man cries "it's a disgrace" Small sacrifice to The Human Race, or so they say Families driving everywhere, seemingly without a care Off to every country fair while tensions mount and flow Driving 'round in SUVs mindless of government decrees Or other peoples' miseries and caring not to know CHORUS Collateral damage is what it's called and all the while, we're at the mall Feel the anger, taste the gall, resentment isn't sweet Someday soon our time will come, an answer due to everyone It's we who'll be under the gun and promises to keep
6.
Your Eyes 04:48
WHEN I LOOK INTO YOUR EYES Lyrics Leo Gonzales Music Mark W. Costoso When I look into your eyes You hear me talking in my sleep I guess in time I'd realize Because of you, I found my needs I've held a candle in my heart That someday you would be with me And when the lights would trickle down I'd wipe away your misery CHORUS And when the angels play this song You feel my love still going strong But when I look into your eyes I see the pain in your disguise When I look into your eyes I took you home and said goodnight You held my hand and kissed my cheek Thanks for the good times that we had You walked away, you set me free Now years come by, I'm still alone Remember way back when I found you standing by my door Feelings come rolling back again CHORUS
7.
WHEN LOVERS PART Lyrics Michael Ellis Music Mark W. Costoso Why does it always seem some people never learn When they give love away, it never is returned When they are seeking love, they lead first with the heart That's why I always cry when lovers have to part It starts out with tenderness and ends in bitter pain Love that was so logical now seems so insane So messy at the finish, so loving at the start That's why I always cry when lovers have to part To some they seem so wrong, the worst they've ever seen And they both act so vain, all they do is preen And people always try, upset the applecart That's why I always cry when lovers have to part
8.
LOVE IS THE HUNTER Lyrics Michael Ricotta Music Mark W. Costoso Fortune and glory is half the story pages of rages and melancholy stages Her life is foretold in teen mag centerfolds She is a stranger, an idle at an early age Glitter and fame give him a different name His personality is the media's game But no one is there to share in his name His words dissolve or carry in vain CHORUS Love is the hunter, fortune strays it's idle reign Love is the hunter, love is the game, the hunt is vain Silent and screaming, living and dreaming Fantasy is their reality His songs mold her stories told And underscore the fallacies Corporate star or starlet scar Two lives in one great odyssey From state to state, a road not straight Through towns and crowds, no amnesty CHORUS His love is the hunt, the hunt is her role The only true love is the love of the world Love is the hunt that will never cease Love is the nomad that never finds peace Love is the fallacy that makes the real Love is the vault in which the soul is sealed Love is the game, the hunt is vain Fortune and glory is half the story
9.
TWISTING THE KNIFE Lyrics...Michael Ellis Music...Mark Costoso The two of us decided to end our married life I'd no longer be your husband You'd no longer be my wife But we didn't bow out gracefully We took our parting shots We couldn't just let it go We were too busy Twisting the knife The pain still lingers on and on It mingles with the strife Trying to smash the prison That boxes in our lives And if we stay within the walls We've already drawn Instead of just walking away We are too busy Twisting the knife This aint no solution Too wrong to be alright Can we try just one more time To stop twisting the knife And the pain still lingers on and on And mingles with the strife The first step to letting go Is to stop Twisting the knife

The Kiss 11:36
THE KISS Lyrics Laurie Costoso Coen Music Mark W. Costoso Now that we've reached this fork in the road Which way should we turn, how to lighten the load Divergent paths threaten lonely days Do we split the road, go our separate ways? To continue on seems a bit hard pressed Tp endure the pain, suffer the stress But to freely roam and wander all alone Is the toughest truth I have ever known CHORUS Kiss me once before you go If it's meant to be, the kiss will know How could we begin like a fairytale And then end in dust, miserably fail Can't we share the road and ramble on ahead Find our one true path, please don't say we're dead CHORUS

Say Goodbye 05:18
SAY GOODBYE Lyrics and Music.......Mark W. Costoso It's like a game this charade you keep on playing Guess I've been playing the fool You never told me that you were keeping score and You never gave me the rules I must have failed 'cause I sit here in a corner A snow cone cap and a stool May be required, this course in love forsaken I think I'll drop out of school You said that you loved me, a little white lie to get your way Now you say that you're lonely and that you'd like for me to stay Well, baby, no way CHORUS Say goodbye to your good time, lady...Out the door with one final impression Say goodbye for the last time, baby...No more tears over hollow affection (Thank you for this invaluable lesson) You know I'm looking for someone to believe in I thought I found it in you Pull down the shades 'cause I wanna keep on dreamin' Abruptly wakened, so rude I guess I must have been crazy to believe it Was just too good to be true I hope you know that I can't forget the feeling Of being inside of you You said that you loved me, a little white lie to get your way Now you say that you're lonely and that you'd like for me to stay Well, baby, no way CHORUS
